Silly Girl!

Just a quick post/pic of my Riley.....hamming it up! She is now officially in her "big girl panties", and loves to wear them all around the house, with nothing else on. This morning my feet were cold so I slipped on some of these really fuzzy, warm socks that my mother-in-law gave me. As soon as I slipped them on Riley was saying that she needed some fuzzy socks too. They ended up being knee-highs on her, and made for a great photo opp! Enjoy!

Happy New Year!

For the past 2 years, the day after Christmas, we pack up the car and head to PK!! We stay for a week and just do nothing.....it is a wonderful time for us as a family to relax and unwind from the hectic holiday season. It seems that we are always just rush, rush, rushing so we really look forward to this time together.

Our very best friends also have a place there and they come too. So we all get together and cook big breakfasts and huge dinners and we make something sweet every night! The kids play and laugh and we all just enjoy being together. There were a few days when the weather was fantastic, so we just had to get out and let the kids run! It is a wonderful way to bring in the new year and I hope the tradition continues for many years to come! We love you guys!
