The Birthday Girl!

Riley is officially 2! Her birthday was filled with many laughs, lots of kisses and hugs, and so much LOVE. We are truly blessed! William and I have made this tradition of capturing Riley's first moments on her special day, she usually starts her day around 8 but this particular day began at 6:30. I think she knew it was her special day! Of course I got up at 5:45 trying to make sure I was up waaaay before anyone else so I could have some "me" time to get things together....it never works out as planned, one day I will learn this! Needless to say, we did get our special moment and it was so sweet, she was so happy to see us!

We made pancakes and sprinkled powdered sugar on top! She was such a wonderful little helper, she poured the milk and helped stir it all up! Daddy let her open a present and she smiled with excitement and joy! It is such a treat to see the world through the eyes of a child....who knew Mickey Mouse hung the moon!

Later that evening we had our family over for Ry's favorite....spaghetti and a homemade birthday cake! It is so nice when we are all together. We all had so much fun celebrating sweet Riley! She is the light of our life, and everyone just loves her so much!
