Seriously.....is this what having babies will do to you? I haven't blogged since Riley was 8 weeks old???? WOW! She is 21.5 months now, & her new baby brother is 8 weeks and 1 day today! Time slips through my hands faster than ever these days.....obviously!!
No one could have prepared me for motherhood, and you certainly begin to understand the repetitiveness of your mother "oh.....you'll see someday when you have kids" back then it was always just blah, blah, blah (sorry MOM) ;) Now it's ohhhhh, I seeeee, and I truly get it now!!
Life in the Palmer house right now is just plain nuts! Riley is on the GAS, and I mean this girl goes! She is such a little drama queen.....wonder who she gets it from?? Her newest "thing" is...."I DO IT" everything is......OK Mommy, I do it. I was changing Carson's diaper just the other day and she looks at me with her hand in my face and says....."I do it Mommy", with her sweet little hip cocked just so, and her head slightly tilted to the side, it was truly a perfect moment! She is such a happy lovable girl, and she brings us more joy then we have ever known!
Carson is such a sweet, sweet boy. This week he started "talking" or cooing for all you mommies who know the lingo, and smiling oh so BIG, & not just because he is passing gas. He is so different from Ry. he is very relaxed and chill, kindda takes after his daddy! He has no idea what quiet is because his sister is a maniac, and he totally just goes with the flow! I love that about him :)The adjusting period is getting better and I am finding little zzzzzzz's & trying to catch up on them when I can! William is such a great Daddy!! We truly enjoy being parents!!
I will be updating this blog so that I can look back at it & say I am so glad that I did, thanks to my best friend who swears that I need to document more!! She is so right!
