So my 30th birthday came and went! It was the best birthday I have ever had, and I still can't believe that I am 30.....WOW! I am so totally fine with this as we all know that your 30's is soooo the new 20's!! I have a wonderful family and lots of super great friends that made this day so special for me.....thanks for everything y'all!!
I woke up Friday morning to my very favorite pioneer pancakes, and some very yummy Jimmy Dean sausage, a huge vase filled with pink and red roses and some other purple flowers too, chilled OJ.....just the way I like it, and a very mushy love card from my husband and some sweet cards from my kids. It was a wonderful way to start off being the BIG 3-0!!
Friday night was a "stuff your face till you have to unbutton your pants" kinda night (we went to the all famous Babe's) DUH! and it was fabulous! I am not a huge fan of bread, but that night I had 2 yes 2 unbelievably melt in your mouth warm biscuits.....extra cardio is in order for this week! My family went all out and spoiled me rotten and my best friend fell off her rocker and went way above & beyond, she is just the way above and beyond kinda gal ;) The night ended with William and I in bed catching up on Big Brother......perfect I tell ya!
Saturday was a very calm relaxing day! William planned a very special dinner for us at our favorite spot (BOBS) YUM! My mouth waters just thinking of it! When we arrived at the fronts desk we were immediately taken to the very back of the restaurant, you see I have been back here before (when we had Willy's surprise party) and still no bells were ringing.....SURPRISE!! All of my closest friends were there and they all did such a wonderful job keeping quiet for so long......honestly, I don't know how some of them did it! It was the perfect ending to a perfect day! I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and such an amazing husband! Cheers.....to the next 30 years!!
